Extreme Exigency Illinois Concealed Carry Firearms Training

Extreme Exigency is proud to announce we have accomplished another large goal forward in our mission to reduce victimization in all areas of life through education and prevention.

Extreme Exigency was recently approved by local Judicial Circuits in Southern Illinois to provide VIP presentations. Starting in February 2015.  Extreme Exigency will be hosting “Victim Impact Panel Presentations" in person classes, but starting in 2022 we will be offering a online class that can be completed at any time that works best for you.

The purpose of the Victim Impact Panel (VIP) presentations are to help DWI/DUI offenders realize the lasting and long-term effects of impaired driving, to create an empathy and understanding of the tragedy, to leave an impression that will change thinking and behavior, and to prevent future offenses from occurring. This workshop has been highly revered and successfully delivered in many court locations in Southern Illinois and was the staple workshop for Franklin County, Jefferson County and Washington County Courts for many years. In years past this workshop has been endorsed by MADD and the Southern Illinois Chapter of Parents of Murdered Children.

Extreme Exigency is honored to be able add this presentation and service to our current efforts to reduce victimization and promote personal safety.

Illinois Concealed Carry 3-Hour Renewal

Does your child know what to do if he or she finds a gun?

The Eddie Eagle GunSafe® program is a gun accident prevention program that seeks to help parents, law enforcement, community groups and educators navigate a topic paramount to our children’s safety. Eddie and his Wing Team are on a mission to help you teach Pre-K through 4th graders what to do if they ever come across a gun…

You talk about stranger danger, Internet safety, fire drills and more with children...so why not include gun safety? The program makes no value judgments about firearms, no firearms are ever used, and it covers an important topic that needs to be addressed with kids. Like swimming pools, electrical outlets and lighters, firearms are simply treated as a part of everyday life. With firearms found in about half of all American households, it’s a stance that makes sense.

INTRODUCTION
A stun gun, pepper spray and other improvised weapons in the hands of someone "not" trained is much like owning a handgun and not having firearms training or ammunition… extremely ill-advised. Hands-on training from certified instructors is an ABSOLUTE MUST!   Without a doubt, a Stun Gun can be an extremely effective tool for self-defense and frequently used by Law Enforcement to defuse violent situations. But understand this is providing you have been properly trained by certified instructors. Even the largest and most violent criminals will be discouraged from the electronic voltage of a stun gun, deployment of pepper spray or other improvised weapons and every citizen, young or old, fragile or strong, can learn proven deployment techniques that will allow them to defend off an attack and get away safely.

The predator’s playbook sets in motion a path towards a way of life with safety for ourselves first, and steadily moves through safety in our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, places of worship and closing with safety for our greatest blessings our children.
